Why Life Can Be Hard

When we compare our life with other people’s lives, what happens? If you’re like most people, we begin to feel worse about ourselves. We see the things we don’t have and the opportunities we missed. Thinking this way can be draining and depressing.  This negative view also zaps energy from the people who are our support system. After a while, their
self-preservation takes over, and they begin to move away from us.

Fortunately, The Guides say there’s a positive approach to take:

Examine what makes you doubt yourself.

Dig through memories for reasons why you think that way.

Confront those memories WITHOUT FEAR.  Since we create our own hardships, take responsibility for them. Own them.

You will then have the POWER to change them.
